[Ieee_vis_open_positions] Visualization Faculty Position at the University of Utah

Hi,

We have a tenure-track visualization faculty position open at the University of Utah.  This position is part of an interdisciplinary cluster hire in biodiversity.

The research emphasis for this position is in information visualization, scientific visualization, visual analytics, human-computer interaction, or image cognition for knowledge discovery and interpretation. Competitive applicants will have a research focus relevant to biodiversity, conservation, and/or the fields of Geography and Geovisualization, as well as interest in use of visualization for public engagement. 

Because we will be interviewing faculty from several different departments that each have their own faculty recruitment schedules, we will start reviewing applications in October 2015.
