Department of École de Technologie Supérieure in Montréal, Canada.
École de Technologie Supérieure – With over 7,000 students, including
more than 1,600 at the graduate and postgraduate levels, and close to
400 in Ph.D. programs, ÉTS (www.etsmtl.ca) in Montreal is one of the
biggest engineering schools in Canada. ÉTS offers Bachelor’s, Master’s
and Doctoral programs designed with an applied engineering focus. ÉTS
cultivates close ties with industry through a dynamic co-operative
education program, and boasts an outstanding degree of partnership-based
research and innovation, and includes a host of industry representatives
in its decision-making bodies. The Department of Software and IT
Engineering invites applications for up to four tenure track positions
in the areas of Information Technology and Software Engineering – more

Applicants must have completed or be completing a Ph.D. in software
engineering, computer science, or a closely related area, and must have
demonstrated the ability to pursue an independent research program with
multiple peer-reviewed publications, and have a strong commitment to
teaching. Candidates will be expected to teach in French, lead a team of
graduate students, obtain external research funding, and be qualified to
become a member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (www.oiq.qc.ca/).
