The University of Birmingham (UK) is looking to recruit a Professor of Plant Science as part of its recently launched Professorial Fellowship scheme, which has identified Plant Sciences as a priority area for recruitment.

Professorial Fellowships are aimed at established mid-career academics with an International research reputation and who are on a clear rising trajectory towards leadership.

Appointments to this scheme will benefit from 3 years of protected research time before transitioning to full Chair positions, thus offering a great opportunity for mid-career scientists to fully develop their research programs.
