DIGITAL LITERARY ANNOTATION NEWSLETTER NO. 70 (JULY 2022)

-------------------------

TEASYS – NEWS

As the summer term gradually comes to a close, the students involved
in the /Annotating Literature/ project are busily writing their
annotations. The /Chimes/ group has produced some finished
annotations. While one explains why Toby “Trotty” Veck’s harsh working
routine is compared to “red-letter days”, another explores the meaning
of Will Fern’s coming “up to London” in its historical context and its
interpretation of Fern’s character.

The Annotated Web Edition Directory[1] is looking forward to your
suggestions. We are always on the look-out for new entries to add to
the list. Feel free to recommend literary digital editions that
include explanatory annotation (of the social or the editorial kind),
web platforms, tools and applications that enable the user to
(collaboratively) annotate texts. Please use the corresponding form on
our webpage. We thank you for your help.
