The Annotated Web Edition Directory[3] is looking forward to your  
suggestions. We are always on the look-out for new entries to add to  
the list. Feel free to recommend literary digital editions that  
include explanatory annotation (of the social or the editorial kind),  
web platforms, tools and applications that enable the user to  
(collaboratively) annotate texts. Please use the corresponding form on  
our webpage. We thank you for your help.
 
Our latest additions to the Directory are Elizabethandrama.org[4] and  
Shakespeare Navigators[5].

Call for Proposals for Open Digital Scholarship in the Humanities at  
the Institute for Advanced Studies, University College London. You can  
register here[6]. The proposals are due MARCH 27, 2020. Please send  
your proposal via http://bit.ly/OpenHUMS. The event has been postponed  
due to Covid-19 crisis, updates concerning a new date will follow.

Call for abstracts[7] for /The Digital Futures of Graduate Study in  
the Humanities/. Deadline for abstracts is APRIL 1, 2020. Please send  
the abstracts to simonappleford at creighton.edu.

The DCMI committee is pleased to announce the call for  
participation[8] in the DCMI 2020 International Conference on  
Metadata, Ottawa, Canada, September 14-17, 2020. Deadline for  
submissions is APRIL 13, 2020.

Call for proposals for the 7th Annual Digital Pedagogy Institute (DPI)  
Conference. For the full CfP please visit the website[9]. Proposals  
are due APRIL 14, 2020.

Proposals for the 3rd workshop InfDH 2020 "Methoden und Anwendungen  
der Computational Humanities[10]" (Karlsruhe, Germany, date tbd) are  
due APRIL 15, 2020.

Proposals for the conference Open Access 2020 – Wege, Akteur*innen,  
Effekte[11] (Bielefeld, Germany, September 15-17, 2020) are due APRIL  
15, 2020.

Call for submissions for the Future of Research Communications and  
e-Scholarship Conference (FORCE2020) in Donostia San Sebastián, Spain,  
from October 19-21, 2020. The deadline for submissions is APRIL 20,

Call for abstracts for the two-day Digital Humanities Symposium at the  
Tilburg School of Humanities and Digital Sciences (TSHD) at Tilburg  
University, the Netherlands, from June 24-25, 2020.  The deadline for  
submissions is MAY 1, 2020; please send your abstracts via  
easychair.org[13]. For more information about the symposium please

The deadline for proposals for the Digital Humanities Austria  
Conference[15] (Vienna, September 23-25, 2020) is MAY 4, 2020.

The deadline for workshop papers for "Twin Talks 3: Understanding and  
Facilitating Collaboration in DH[16]", at the Digital Humanities  
Conference DH 2020 (Ottawa, Canada, July 20-25, 2020) is MAY 7, 2020.

Call for papers for Conversations on Data and Computational Pedagogy.  
Deadline for submissions is JUNE 1, 2020. For more information  
concerning the submission guidelines please follow the link[17].

Call for papers for the /Journal of Interactive Technology and  
Pedagogy/[18] (JITP): the journal accepts submissions on any topic  
within the field.

Call for essays for /Impressions, Vol. 2: Essays on the Art of

  UPDATES

The European Association for Digital Humanities has extended its  
deadline for submissions for EADH2020 until the MARCH 31, 2020. The  
conference will be hosted by the Siberian Federal University and will  
take place in September 2020.

The Textual Editing in the Digital Age workshop in Newcastle was  
cancelled. However, Marjorie Burghart and Elena Pierazzo (with others)  
are running an online introductory TEI workshop; please see  
https://twitter.com/medievalMB/status/1240361502747566081 for sign-up.

The Helsinki Digital Humanities Hackathon[20] is postponed til autumn  
2020, register your interest to keep informed.

SPRING/SUMMER SCHOOLS

Application for the European Summer University in Digital Humanities  
2020[21] (Leipzig, Germany, July 28 – August 7, 2020) is possible  
until APRIL 30, 2020.

You can now register[22] for the DHSI 2020[23], taking place between  
June 1-5 and June 8-12, 2020, in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. A  
list of course offerings can be found at  
https://dhsi.org/course-offerings/.  Registration ENDS JUNE 1, 2020.

DHSI Atlantic will be hosted at University College Cork, Ireland, FROM  
JUNE 15-19, 2020. For more information and to see the programme follow

The Helsinki Digital Humanities Hackathon #DHH20 will be organised  
from May 27 - June 5, 2020, as CLARIN and DARIAH international summer  
school. The application period is from MARCH 2 - APRIL 2,2020.

Registration[25] is now open for the DH at Guelph Summer Workshops 2020  
at the University of Guelph from MAY 4-7, 2020. For a list of all the

The Humanities Intensive Learning & Teaching Institute (HILT) has  
opened registration for HILT2020 hosted by the Center for Digital  
Research in the Humanities at the University of Nebraska Lincoln, FROM  
MAY 18-22, 2020. For more information on HILT2020 please visit the

JOBS/SCHOLARSHIPS/GRANTS

The University of Marburg (Germany) is offering a PhD position[29]  
concerned with the digitisation and publication of the “Bildindex zur  
Politischen Ikonographie“. The deadline is APRIL 3, 2020.

The Southern Illinois University Edwardsville’s Interdisciplinary  
Research and Informatics Scholarship Center (IRIS) is hiring a  
Research Assistant Professor. Deadline for application is APRIL 15,

The Centre for Contemporary and Digital History at the University of  
Luxembourg is seeking 4 doctoral candidates in the field of modern or

The Masters in Digital Humanities program at Loyola University Chicago
