TEASYS – NEWS

We are looking back to a successful semester. In the class on
“Annotating Religious Poetry”, three poems are still in the process of
being annotated. A first few samples will be published soon.

The 15TH INTERNATIONAL CONNOTATIONS SYMPOSIUM “UNDERSTANDING (THROUGH)
ANNOTATIONS” will take place 28 July – 1 August, 2019 in Tübingen,
Germany. Contributions will include papers on early modern annotation
practices, editions of the poetry of Henry Vaughan as much as of
Alexander Pope, and annotations relating to humour as well as
epigraphs as annotations in contemporary American poetry. You can find
the programme here[1].

-------------------------

The Annotated Web Edition Directory[2] is looking forward to your
suggestions. We are always on the look-out for new entries to add to
the list. Feel free to recommend literary digital editions that
include explanatory annotation (of the social or the editorial kind),
web platforms, tools and applications that enable the user to
(collaboratively) annotate texts. Please use the corresponding form on
our webpage. We thank you for your help.
