We are looking back to a successful semester. In the class on “Annotating Religious Poetry”, three poems are still in the process of being annotated. A first few samples will be published soon.<br>

The <strong>15th International Connotations Symposium “Understanding (through) Annotations”</strong> will take place 28 July – 1 August, 2019 in Tübingen, Germany. Contributions will include papers on early modern annotation practices, editions of the poetry of Henry Vaughan as much as of Alexander Pope, and annotations relating to humour as well as epigraphs as annotations in contemporary American poetry.
