TEASYS – NEWS

At this year’s Dickens Conference[1] (Tübingen, Germany, July 30 –
August 1) Angelika Zirker (Berlin/Tübingen) and Miriam Lahrsow
(Tübingen) presented TEASys in a joint talk titled “Nor’westers,
Fighting Cocks, and Obserwations: A Digital Annotated Edition of /The
Chimes/”.

Sabine Bartsch (Darmstadt) and Angelika Zirker (Berlin/Tübingen)
organise a DH workshop at the Anglistentag 2018[2] (Bonn, 23-26
September). The aim is to strengthen the “Anglistik” perspective in
the Digital Humanities as well as to show what digital projects may
offer to everyone concerned with English linguistics, literature and
culture.

The topic of the 15th International /Connotations/ Symposium
(Tübingen, Summer 2019) is “Understanding (Through) Annotations”.
Proposals (300 words max.) can be sent to to the editors of
Connotations until OCTOBER 15, 2018: symposium2019 at connotations.de.

-------------------------

The Annotated Web Edition Directory[3] is looking forward to your
suggestions. We are always on the look-out for new entries to add to
the list. Feel free to recommend literary digital editions that
include explanatory annotation (of the social or the editorial kind),
web platforms, tools and applications that enable the user to
(collaboratively) annotate texts. Please use the corresponding form on
our webpage. We thank you for your help.
