We are hiring a Postdoctoral Research Fellow to join Dr. Trudi Qi’s True Virtual Intelligence Lab at Chapman University, California, U.S.A., for an NSF-funded project on multimodal AI for gesture-driven 3D content creation in immersive environments.

The project is at the intersection of generative AI, geometric modeling, VR/AR/XR, and human-computer interaction. The postdoctoral researcher will work on developing AI/ML models, multimodal 3D representations, and XR-based interactive systems for human-centered 3D content creation.

Candidates with backgrounds in AI/ML, especially generative AI, 3D modeling, HCI, VR/AR/XR, or related areas are encouraged to apply.
