Post-doctoral researcher in Visual Analytics

The division for Media and Information Technology, Department of Science and Technology at Linköping University (LiU), Sweden, invites applications for a post-doctoral researcher in Visual Analytics.

The postdoc will participate in a Horizon 2020 project comprising universities, airlines and air navigation service providers and is concerned with big data analytics of aviation data with an aim to predict hazards and improve safety.

We are seeking a talented and committed individual who will conduct research in visual and algorithmic analysis of aviation data from multiple sources. The research will involve the design and development of visually aided algorithmic approaches with a focus on interactivity. The primary goal is the identification of sequential patterns leading to unwanted events.
