Research Assistant (PhD student)
starting as soon as possible
The Institute of Computer Graphics at the Faculty of Technology and Natural Science at the Johannes Kepler University Linz (www.jku.at/cg <http://www.jku.at/cg>) is seeking a projected assistant (PhD student).
According to the wage agreement of the Austrian Research Funding Agency (FWF), the gross salary is 28.994 EUR/year (30h per week). Applicants must hold a Master’s or Univ. Diploma degree in computer science or related fields (such as mathematics), and should have experience in one or more of the following areas: computer vision, computer graphics, signal processing, image processing. Considerable experience in programming is expected. Prior involvement in research or development projects is a plus. Candidates must be fluent in English (speaking and writing).
