XXII Symposium on Virtual and Augmented Reality
<https://svr2020.cin.ufpe.br/>

Now Online!

Main track deadline: July 17

The Symposium on Virtual and Augmented Reality (SVR) is the premier
conference on VR/AR in Brazil. In 2020, SVR will be held between November 7
and 10. In order to preserve the safety and well-being of all participants,
the decision has been made to hold SVR as a virtual conference.

The SVR aims to bring together researchers, promoting the exchange of
experiences and facilitating interaction between research groups, creating
better conditions for the development of new inter-institutional research
groups, as well as acting as an instrument to disseminate the advances in
Virtual and Augmented Reality in Brazil and the world.

SVR 2020 will occur together with three other major events:

ISMAR 2020 <http://ismar20.org/>, the IEEE International Symposium on Mixed
and Augmented Reality, SIBGRAPI’2020 <https://sibgrapi2020.cin.ufpe.br/>,
the 33rd Conference on Graphics, Patterns and Images, and SBGames 2020
<https://sbgames2020.cin.ufpe.br/>, the Symposium on Computer Games and
Digital Entertainment.

Workshop of Undergraduate Works

This workshop aims to encourage the scientific initiation students and
recent graduate researchers in the VR and AR areas to share and discuss
their studies with the community. It seeks to stimulate the Virtual and
Augmented Reality community to present works in the various interest topics
of the SVR.

that is updated annually and has chapters with concepts, main
characteristics of VR and AR systems, technologies (hardware and software)
and applications. In this year, the event is an opportunity for researchers
to add new chapters, presenting experiences in the use of VR and AR in
other areas, such as the Internet of Things, Deep Learning, Machine
Learning, Cybersecurity, among others.
