[Ieee_vis] News: Call for Visualization and Graphics Technical Committee Chair Nominations

[IEEE VR Publicity]

The Visualization and Graphics Technical Committee (VGTC) is the IEEE
Technical Committee that oversees the IEEE VR, ViS, and ISMAR conferences.
The VGTC executive committee has three open positions, Ethics and Diversity
Chair, Industrial Relations Chair, and Online Communities Chair.

Ethics and Diversity Chair

·      Work with IEEE, VGTC and associated conferences to develop ethics
and diversity guidelines
·      Serve on review boards that address ethics issues that arise in the
VGTC community

Industrial Relations Chair

·      Work with IEEE, VGTC and associated conferences to develop
industrial relations best practices including support for industry
participation in VGTC-sponsored conferences and educational services

Online Communities Chair

·      Work with IEEE, VGTC and associated conferences to develop online
community best practices including social media outreach and online
conference production and participation
