This is to remind you that the “UNCONVENTIONAL PROTEINS AND MEMBRANES TRAFFIC" – UPMT meeting will be held from 4 to 7th October in Lecce, Italy.

Deadline for registration and abstract submission is 30 of June 2016.

The event is organized by an international panel of scientists and brings together, to a common forum, researchers and academics expert of proteins and membranes traffic in different biological systems.

The aim of the conference is to provide a platform to meet and share cutting-edge development in the field of heterogeneous mechanisms, collectively named "unconventional protein secretion". These processes cover major biological problems, such as cell-to-cell communication, tumorigenesis, tissue remodelling, inflammation, host–pathogen interactions, lipid metabolism.

All contribution abstracts are eligible to publication in The International Journal of Molecular Science (MDPI). [3] The journal also opened a special issue [4] and welcome participant submissions with a 20% reduction of processing charges.
