Dear Colleagues,

On the behalf of the Chair organizer Pr Hong Gil Nam and as the organizer of the session on
"Nutrient remobilization and post harvest physiology", its my pleasure to announce:

The */IBS Conference on Plant Science:/****The 8^th International Symposium on Plant
Senescence* which is expanded its scope from formerly *European Workshop on Plant Senescence*, will
be held from October 31^st to November 4^th , 2016, in Korea(tentatively, at beautiful Jeju Island).

The conference aims to provide a comprehensive overview of plant senescence and aging and provoke
ample discussion, with an emphasis on understanding of how plant senescence and aging affect plant
productivity.

It will be structured into eight sessions (tentative sessions):

  *
    Photosynthetic apparatus during leaf senescence
  *
    Subcellular organelle senescence
  *
    Organ senescence
  *
    Regulation of senescence
  *
    Senescence and stress
  *
    Senescence, reproduction, and plant productivity
  *
    Nutrient remobilization and postharvest physiology
  *

Phenomics and new approaches (Natural variation and evolution)

We will have two invited speakers for this session who will be chosen on the basis of abstract
    submission.

Please save the date for the 8^th International Symposium on Plant Senescence and prepare your
    abstracts.

    October 31^st to November 4^th , 2016, in Korea

Thank you to send information to who might be interested.
