The Annotated Web Edition Directory[1] is looking forward to your  
suggestions. We are always on the look-out for new entries to add to  
the list. Feel free to recommend literary digital editions that  
include explanatory annotation (of the social or the editorial kind),  
web platforms, tools and applications that enable the user to  
(collaboratively) annotate texts. Please use the corresponding form on  
our webpage. We thank you for your help.

CALLS FOR PAPERS
 
Registration for the winter school “Digitale Editionen –  
Interface-Design[2]” (March 21-25, 2022) is NOW OPEN.
 
Papers for the online workshop “Softwaregestützte  
Kategorienentwicklung in Praxis und Forschung“ February 21-22, 2022).  
The deadline is JANUARY 15, 2022. Submissions can be sent to  
dominik.gerstorfer[at]tu-darmstadt.de.
 
Call for proposals for the 2022 Society for Textual Scholarship  
conference (theme “Cultural Mappings”). The 2022 conference will be in  
person, hosted by Loyola University, Chicago, May 26-28. The DEADLINE  
for proposals is JANUARY 15, 2022. Please see the full CfP[3] for more  
details.
 
Submissions for the “Workshop on Computational Approaches to Human and  
Machine Creativity[4]” (March 15, 2022) are due by FEBRUARY 6, 2022.
 
Papers for the conference “Machine Learning and Data Mining for  
Digital Scholarly Editions[5]” (June 9-10, 2022, Rostock) can be  
submitted until FEBRUARY 10, 2022.

UPDATES

The deadline for travel grants [6]for the DHd 2022 “Kulturen des  
digitalen Gedächtnisses” has been extended. The new deadline is  
January 5, 2022.

JOBS AND GRANTS

The Moses Mendelssohn Zentrum für europäisch-jüdische Studien (MMZ) is  
offering five grants for early-career researchers[7] who would like to  
attend the DHd2022. The deadline is JANUARY 5, 2022.
 
The Zentrum für Informationsmodellierung- Austrian Centre for Digital  
Humanities is hiring a research fellow[8]. The deadline is JANUARY 5,  
2022.
 
The Deutsches Dokumentationszentrum für Kunstgeschichte – Bildarchiv  
Foto Marburg is looking for a data curator[9]. The deadline is JANUARY  
7, 2022.
 
The Deutsches Historisches Institut Paris is looking for a research  
fellow[10] in the field of digital historical science. The deadline is  
JANUARY 9, 2022. 
 
The Max Weber Stiftung – Deutsche Geisteswissenschaftliche Institute  
im Ausland (MWS) is looking for a research fellow[11] to develop and  
launch its digital library. The deadline is JANUARY 28, 2022.

  RECENT PUBLICATIONS

The second volume of the /Wiener Digitale Revue/[12] has just been published.

The new Corvey Digital Portal[13] was launched at the end of November.

Two new articles have appeared in RIDE: Eleonora Peruch’s review of  
the Decameron Web[14] and Elisa Beshero-Bondar’s “A comparative review  
of The Carlyle Letters Online and The Jane Addams Digital Edition[15]”.

A new issue of magazén[16] - International Journal for Digital and  
Public Humanities has just been published.
