winter term. Students who are interested in joining can refer to our

The Annotated Web Edition Directory[2] is looking forward to your  
suggestions. We are always on the look-out for new entries to add to  
the list. Feel free to recommend literary digital editions that  
include explanatory annotation (of the social or the editorial kind),  
web platforms, tools and applications that enable the user to  
(collaboratively) annotate texts. Please use the corresponding form on  
our webpage. We thank you for your help.

CALLS FOR PAPERS
 
The sixth Digital Humanities Utah Symposium (DHU6) will be held on  
February 25-26, 2022, at Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah.  
Proposals are being accepted UNTIL NOVEMBER 30, 2021. The full CFP is  
available on the conference website[3].
 
Call for Papers for the DHARTI 2022 conference[4] “The Digital  
Divides: Discontents, Debates and Discussions”, which take place from  
February 21 – 25, 2022. The DEADLINE for submission is NOVEMBER 30,  
2021.
 
The recently launched open access, peer-reviewed Journal of  
Computational Literary Studies (JCLS)[5] is currently inviting  
submissions for its first volume. The deadline is DECEMBER 15, 2021.
 
Call for proposals for the 2022 Society for Textual Scholarship  
conference (theme “Cultural Mappings”). The 2022 conference will be in  
person, hosted by Loyola University, Chicago, May 26-28. The DEADLINE  
for proposals is JANUARY 15, 2022. Please see the full CfP[6] for more  
details.
 
Papers for the conference “Machine Learning and Data Mining for  
Digital Scholarly Editions[7]” (June 9-10, 2022, Rostock) can be  
submitted until FEBRUARY 10, 2022.

  UPDATES

Call for participation for the (virtual) DHASA Conference 2021[8] with  
the theme: “Digitally Human, Artificially Intelligent” The conference  
will take place from November 29, 2021 -  December 3, 2021. You can  
register for the conference here[9].

There will be an online INKE- and CAPOS-hosted gathering (“Putting  
Open Social Scholarship into Practice”) on December 8-10, 2021.  
Registration[10] and the programme[11] can be accessed through the  
conference website.

  JOBS AND GRANTS

The University of Vienna is hiring a senior scientist[12] for the  
Department of European and Comparative Literature and Language  
Studies. The deadline is NOVEMBER 28, 2021.
 
The University of Bozen/Bolzano is looking for a researcher in  
computational linguistics[13] with scientific programming expertise.  
The deadline is NOVEMBER 30, 2021.
 
The Department of Digital Humanities and Social Studies of the Faculty  
of Humanities at FAU Erlangen-Nuremberg is hiring up to four postdoc  
researchers[14]. The deadline is NOVEMBER 30, 2021.
 
The Sächsische Akademie der Wissenschaften zu Leipzig is hiring a  
research fellow[15] for its project “Publikationsdienst für  
wissenschaftliche Datenmodelle und Vokabulare” (“Publication service  
for scientific data models and vocabularies”). The deadline is  
DECEMBER 6, 2021.
 
Students, PhD candidates and postdocs can now apply for travel  
stipends[16] for the DHd2022 “Kulturen des digitalen Gedächtnisses”  
(March 7-11, 2022, Potsdam). The deadline is DECEMBER 20, 2021.
 
The Deutsche Historische Institut Paris is looking for a research  
fellow[17] in the field of digital historical science. The deadline is  
JANUARY 9, 2022. 
 
The University College London is looking for an Associate Professor in  
Digital Humanities (permanent, full-time post), for more details

The Kelvin Smith Library seeks a Digital Scholarship Partner (DSP).
