Job Title: Postdoctoral Research Fellow
Job Details: A postdoctoral position is available in HKUST HCI Lab led by
Prof. Xiaojuan Ma in the Computer Science & Engineering Department of the
Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. Prof. Xiaojuan Ma is
looking for a highly motivated postdoc to work on a project regarding
Interactive Visualization and Navigation Analysis of Ocean Data Integrating
Machine Learning and Numerical Models. This project is funded by the Center
For Ocean Research Hong Kong - Macau and HCI Lab.
PI: Xiaojuan Ma (Associate Professor, Department of Computer Science and
Engineering, HKUST)
Location: Clear Water Bay Campus, the Hong Kong University of Science and
Technology
Duration: 1+n (one year, renewable based on research performance)
Expertise in some or all of the following areas is desired: 3D Data
Visualization (e.g., Unity, WebGL) and Visual Analytics, Human-Computer
Interaction, Data Mining/Machine Learning/Artificial Intelligence, and
Ocean Science. All candidates must have received a PhD in a relevant field.
