*Assistant and Associate Professor Positions in Computer Science*

We are seeking several academics who will make significant contributions to
our teaching, enhance the student experience, and advance our research in
Visualization, Computer Graphics, and Human-Computer Interaction.



We are the Interactive Data Exploration System Lab (https://ideaslab.wang/)
at the Renmin University of China, and our mission is to enhance people's
ability to understand and communicate data through the design of automated
visualization and visual analytics systems. We 窗体顶端are seeking several
exceptional candidates with a proven track record of excellence in
visualization, graphics, or human-computer interaction. The ideal candidate
will possess the experience and capability to deliver outstanding teaching
in these areas, coupled with the vision and drive to address new
challenges. Your research should align with the lab’s research theme, and
you will collaborate closely with other staff within this theme.



Our lab is part of the Key Laboratory of Data Engineering and Knowledge
Engineering (Renmin University of China), under the Ministry of Education.
It holds the distinction of being the first data science lab in China. The
lab has been at the forefront of database research and education in China,
achieving a few milestones, including publishing the first database
textbook, incubating the domestic database company Kingbase Technology
Inc., and winning the second prize of the National Science and Technology
Progress Award. In recent years, the key lab has shifted its research focus
to big data, aiming to develop a new data-oriented computer science system.



The key laboratory of data engineering and knowledge engineering is located
at Zhongguancun, a prominent technology hub in the Haidian district of
Beijing, China. The key lab provides a collegial working environment, with
staff employing flexible approaches in both teaching and research. Our
university offers the premier education system in China for children,
covering kindergarten through high school. We welcome applications from
candidates with diverse backgrounds and are committed to providing a
