Positions in Computer Vision / Machine Learning/Computer Graphics/ social Robotics
MIRALab, a R&D spin off company of MIRALab at university of Geneva (miralab.com) in Geneva, is looking for motivated candidates with bachelor, master's degree or PhD in CS or related field to work for various projects as for example the EU project ENIGMA (http://miralab.com/project/enigma/).
The collaboration with the ENIGMA project is to develop a methodology that will:

  1.  Reconstruct objects and statues which are not accessible or  not able to be digitized by man-made threats.
  2.  Exploit registered but incomplete information such as text, maps, photos, partial images, or videos.
  3.  Make use of advanced AI techniques that can identify and trace un-registered Cultural Goods (CGs).
  4.  Provide realistic reconstructed un-registered 3D CGs.
Participation to other ongoing projects is possible as on the AI and vision R&D of our social humanoid robot Nadine (Nadine Social Robot - Wikipedia<https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nadine_Social_Robot>)
Candidates with strong knowledge in some below main fields are welcome to apply.
1.    Computer Vision and Machine Learning
2.     3D object reconstruction from incomplete multimedia information
3.     Large Language Models and social robotics
Required qualifications:
Applicants must earn at least a bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or related fields.
Once selected, the candidates will be encouraged to submit papers in top conferences and journals and participate to EU meetings.
Candidates must have excellent programming and software development skills. Some knowledge of OpenCV, MATLAB, Python, C sharp, or C++ are welcome.
