About the Project
In this project, the successful candidate has the unique opportunity to reshape how patient records are browsed and read. Using state-of-the-art methods like knowledge graphs and the expertise of Denmark's largest health IT company, the candidate will be developing the scientific framework behind a patient- and context-oriented display of health information that gives doctors the relevant patient history on a glance.
Qualifications
The successful candidate holds a PhD degree and has experience doing visualization research in applied settings. The candidate is expected to have a strong background in at least one of the fields of information visualization, visual analytics, and HCI. Having previously worked in Health IT, UI/UX Design, Graph Drawing, or Machine Learning is of further advantage.
Tasks
The candidate is take on an organizing role for the visualization research in this project. As part of that, the candidate is expected to support student supervision, to facilitate the dialog with other stakeholders in the project, and to lead publication efforts. A proven track record of collaborative research, as well as excellent communication skills in written and spoken English are thus essential to the position.

Application procedure
Shortlisting is used. This means that after the deadline for applications - and with the assistance from the assessment committee chairman, and the appointment committee if necessary, - the head of department selects the candidates to be evaluated. All applicants will be notified whether or not their applications have been sent to an expert assessment committee for evaluation. The selected applicants will be informed about the composition of the committee, and each applicant is given the opportunity to comment on the part of the assessment that concerns him/her self. Once the recruitment process is completed a final letter of rejection is sent to the deselected applicants.

Salary depends on seniority as agreed between the Danish Ministry of Finance and the Confederation of Professional Associations.
