Starting March 1, 2021, the University of Applied Arts Vienna is looking for a Senior Scientist (m/f/d, 30 hours per week, permanent) for the Department of Geometry.

Employment Requirements:
- Relevant degree (mathematics, computer science, geometry teaching degree, possibly also physics)
- Excellent qualities in programming graphics software
Desired:
- Very good knowledge of English
- Good knowledge of geometry
- Proficiency in at least one professional software package such as         Maya, Rhino, Blender, etc.
- Very good knowledge of TeX
Job Description:
- Supervision of students from various fields of study (also in English).
- Collaboration on technical-scientific-artistic projects
- Support of the homepage
- if necessary maintenance and installation of hard- and software
- Collaboration on book projects
- administrative activities, examination supervision
- Doctorate possible

The minimum monthly salary for this position is currently € 2,228.63
(14x per year) and can possibly be increased on the basis of the collective bargaining.
This can be increased by taking into account previous experience specific to the job.
