The University of Arizona seeks a postdoctoral researcher in visualization
under the direction of Joshua A. Levine. The primary duties will be
conducting research on visualization of scientific data within the scope of
projects in Dr. Levine’s research team. Secondary duties will involve
projects associated with the HDC research group at the UA (
http://hdc.cs.arizona.edu/).

In particular, this position will focus on research projects at the
intersection of machine learning and topological analysis.  The overall
goal of this research is to produce novel analysis techniques for the
visualization and analysis of multifaceted data coming from scientific
simulations such as climate.  We are seeking candidates with background in
at least one of these areas.

The position is a one-year term which can be extended an additional year by
mutual consent.
