We are recruiting a Research Fellow for a fixed-term position (up to 30 months) at the University of Leeds, UK.

Closing Date: Thursday 10 August 2017

It is anticipated that interviews for this post will be held in the week commencing 4 September 2017

The position is part of the new, cross-disciplinary QualDash project, which is funded by the National Institute for Health Research. QualDash aims to develop novel interactive dashboards to help users to visualize and explore health data from National Clinical Audits (NCAs). The dashboards will transform the ability of clinical teams, quality subcommittees, NHS Trust boards, and commissioners to improve care quality and clinical outcomes by understanding NCA data.

The Research Fellow will take responsibility for the iterative design, prototyping and development of the
QualDash software to run on a Web-based platform. The successful applicant will have a PhD (or be close to completion) in Computing or a closely allied discipline (or have equivalent experience), strong programming skills (including experience of languages and applications relevant to Web-based visualization), an ability to develop interactive visualization applications, and  experience of conducting research that leads to high quality
Publications.
