[Ieee_vis_open_positions] Job Offer: Astronomy Visualization at Max Planck Institute for Astronomy / Haus der Astronomie

Dear list members,

we are currently looking to fill a position in astronomy visualization at
the Max Planck Institute for Astronomy / Haus der Astronomie in
Heidelberg.

The position has a focus on outreach applications such as planetariums,
but also includes some scientific visualization tasks. Whoever fills the
position would work closely with the Heidelberg astronomers at the MPI and
at the University.

We have initial money for 5 years, but if whoever holds the position does
really excellent work, we hope that Max Planck Society might turn this
into a permanent position.
