      Research Officer - Advanced Medical Imaging and Visualisation
      Unit, Bangor, Wales

The Advanced Medical Imaging and Visualisation Unit is a partnership 
between the Research Institute of Visual Computing (with members from 
the computer science departments of Aberystwyth, Bangor, Cardiff and 
Swansea Universities) and the NHS in Wales. It is funded by a grant of 
£1.2 million from the National Institute for Social Care and Health 
Research (NISCHR). The unit works on state-of-the-art research projects 
that deliver medical imaging and visualization technology to hospitals.

We are seeking an excellent research officer to carry out collaborative 
research in this exciting and challenging area of computer science.

The successful candidate will be expected to start September 2013 and 
the position is available until March 2015 and will be based at the 
School of Computer Science, Bangor University. The closing date for the 
position is Friday, 19th July 2013.
