[Ieee_vis] CFP: AgenticVIS Challenge V2.0 at IEEE VIS 2026

Dear colleagues:

We are excited to announce the AgenticVIS Challenge V2.0 as part of the
VISxGenAI Workshop (https://visxgenai.github.io) at IEEE VIS 2026.

*Challenge website:* https://www.visagent.org/
*Deadline*: August 15, 2026

The challenge invites participants to build AI agents for visualization
tasks. No model training is needed, and the starter kit includes a working
baseline. Participants can focus on prompting, agent workflow design, and
visualization reasoning.

This could be a good fit for junior students looking for a concrete
agent/visualization project, or for anyone interested in getting involved
with IEEE VIS.

*New this year:*
We have updated the challenge format. Development datasets will be released
before the deadline, while hidden test datasets will be used for final
evaluation. During development, submissions may receive automated feedback,
including benchmark metrics and arena-style agent peer evaluation.

We would greatly appreciate it if you could share this with students, lab
members, or colleagues who may be interested.
