We are pleased to remind you that there is one month left to submit your work to the ACM Symposium on Spatial User Interaction (SUI 2026), which will take place on October 10–11, 2026 in Bari, Italy.
SUI is a premier venue for research on spatial user interfaces and interactions, bringing together researchers and practitioners working across virtual, augmented, and mixed reality, as well as other spatial computing environments.
Important Dates
Submission Deadline: May 29, 2026 — 23:59 AoE (hard deadline with no extension)
Notification: June 29, 2026 — 23:59 AoE
Camera Ready: August 14, 2026 — 23:59 AoE

Topics of Interest
We welcome original, unpublished contributions across a broad range of topics, including, but not limited to:
• Spatial input devices and technologies
• Intelligent and adaptive spatial interfaces
• Interaction design, UX, and usability
• Perception, cognition, and human factors
• Multimodal and multisensory interaction, e.g., haptics, audio, gesture
• Collaborative and distributed spatial interaction
• Immersive analytics and visualization
• Spatial interaction with avatars, data, and virtual humans
• Inclusion, accessibility, privacy, and ethics
• Applications in gaming, healthcare, education, CAD, and engineering
• Smart spatial computing and GenAI

Types of Contributions
We invite a variety of contributions, including:
• Research papers, 4–10 pages excluding references
• Systems and novel applications
• Toolkits and software
• Practice and experience reports
Paper length should match the contribution: shorter papers may present early-stage ideas, while longer papers typically report mature research.
We look forward to receiving your exciting contributions and to advancing the field of spatial user interaction together.
