Submission Instructions
Full and survey papers must be submitted using the Editorial Manager for
Computers & Graphics <https://www.editorialmanager.com/cag/default.aspx>.
This year, there will be* no separate abstract submission*. The authors are
required to submit directly the final paper. When submitting your paper,
make sure that you select the correct *Article Type* (VSI: Special Section
on VCBM 2026).
Formatting & Limits
- *Full Papers:* We do not impose strict maximum lengths for the full
papers track. However, it is unusual for papers to exceed *10 pages* (in C&G
LaTeX style
<https://www.elsevier.com/__data/promis_misc/elsarticle-CAG-template.zip>,
including all images and references). Papers should only be as long as
their content justifies. Reviewers may rate a submission lower if it is
perceived as unnecessarily long or recommend it for the conference (short
paper) track instead.
- *Surveys:* We do not impose strict maximum lengths for the survey
track. However, it is unusual for surveys to exceed *20 pages* (in C&G
LaTeX style
<https://mirrors.ctan.org/macros/latex/contrib/elsarticle.zip>,
including all images and references).
Anonymization & Media
- *Review Process:* This track follows a *double-blind* review process.
Authors must anonymize their submissions (names, affiliations, and explicit
self-citations must be removed). Please follow the instructions
<https://www.sciencedirect.com/journal/computers-and-graphics/publish/guide-for-authors#toc-21>
in the guide for authors of Computers & Graphics.
- *Supplementary Material:* Authors are strongly encouraged to use
supplementary material, such as videos or executable programs, to provide
extra content.
- *Video Formats: *Please use common video codecs, such as *MP4 (H.264)*,
to maximize the chances that the reviewers can view them.
- *Use of AI:* All submissions must adhere to the official Elsevier
policies regarding the use of generative AI and AI-assisted technologies in
scientific writing. For detailed guidelines on disclosure and authorship
requirements, please refer to the Elsevier Generative AI Policies for
Journals
<https://www.elsevier.com/about/policies-and-standards/generative-ai-policies-for-journals>.
Best regards,
