BioVis 2026 - ABSTRACT DEADLINE IN 1 WEEK

Dear colleagues,

This is a friendly reminder that the deadline for submitting abstracts (talks and posters) to BioVis at ISMB/ECCB 2026 is next Thursday, April 9, 2026 (Anywhere on Earth).

BioVis is a one-day symposium on biological data visualization, bringing together researchers from visualization, bioinformatics, and biology.

SUBMISSION TYPES

TALKS (deadline: April 9, 2026 AoE)

  - Published work:
    250-word abstract + copy of paper (or link if open access)

  - Unpublished work:
    Extended abstract up to 1,500 words with figures

POSTERS & DEMOS (deadline: April 9, 2026 AoE)

  - 250-word abstract + one supporting figure
  - Present preliminary results, works in progress, visualization challenges, or previously published work
  - A selection of posters will be invited for a short talk
  - Late submissions accepted until May 7, 2026
