[Ieee_vis] Invitation to a survey with opportunity for co-authorship

Hello VIS community,

Do you teach data visualization in a university, bootcamp, workshop, or corporate training setting? We'd love to learn from your experience.

We are conducting a research study on how AI tools (such as ChatGPT, Copilot, and others) are influencing the teaching and learning of visualization. Our goal is to capture educators' perspectives across a wide range of teaching contexts.

Who should participate?
We welcome educators who teach data visualization in any context—whether you use AI tools in your teaching, have experimented with them, or have chosen not to use them at all.

We're inviting you to participate in two ways:

1. Survey (10 minutes): Share your experiences and perspectives on AI in visualization education. Open to all educators (enter raffle for $50 gift card)

2. Focus groups (optional): Join two 1.5 hours online sessions for deeper discussion with fellow educators. Participants will be recognized through co-authorship on the resulting publication and receive early access to findings.
