[Ieee_vis] Call for hosting IEEE AIxVR 2027

Dear colleagues,


The AIxVR Steering Committee is inviting expressions of interest to host AIxVR 2027.


AIxVR has become a premier international conference at the intersection of Artificial Intelligence and Extended/Virtual Reality, rotating annually between American, European, and Asian time zones. Following this principle, the 2027 edition is expected to take place in or near the American time zone.


We are now seeking informal proposals from potential host institutions. At this stage, we ask only for high-level information about the organizers, proposed location and venue, and feasibility of costs. No detailed budget or signed venue contract is required.


Full details are in the attached call. Expressions of interest should be sent to Wolfgang Hürst, huerst at uu.nl, by November 16, 2025.
