📢  The MERCADO Workshop is back at IEEE VIS 📊!

We are happy to announce the 2nd edition of the Multimodal Experiences for Remote Communication Around Data Online (MERCADO) workshop at the IEEE VIS Conference<https://ieeevis.org/year/2025/welcome>, Nov 2 - 7 in Vienna 🇦🇹.

Join us to discuss the main challenges of remote communication and collaboration around data. This year, we are focusing on 4 challenge themes: Techniques and Technologies, Individual Differences and Group Dynamics, AI-Assisted Collaboration, and Evaluation. We invite researchers, practitioners, and educators working on data HCI, social VR, visualization, immersive analytics, human-centered AI, computer-supported cooperative work, online education, and related fields to share their work and experiences, to explore the challenges, and develop potential solutions. We look forward to your submissions in the style of work-in-progress reports, case studies, or provocation or reflection statements!
