       4th Schematic Mapping Workshop

The 4th Schematic Mapping Workshop will take place in Paris in 2025,
bringing together researchers and practitioners working on schematic
maps of transit networks and beyond, including graphic designers,
cartographers psychologists, computer scientists, and transport
professionals.

One highlight for the two-day workshop program is that we have invited
Professor Sara Irina Fabrikant (https://visualizegeo.info/website/)
and Dr. Guillaume Touya (https://www.umr-lastig.fr/guillaume-touya/)
as our keynote speakers.

The program will feature presentations of contributed original
research papers as well as a number of invited position papers
surveying the state of the art on different aspects of schematic
mapping. In addition it hosts an exhibition of posters summarizing
ongoing research projects as well as new designs of schematic maps.
All participants will further have the opportunity to present
late-breaking results in an open-mic session and to contribute to the
poster and design exhibition.
