CALL FOR PARTICIPATION

===

ACM UMAP 2022 is the premier international conference for researchers and
practitioners working on systems that adapt to individual users, to groups
of users, and that collect, represent, and model user information. ACM UMAP
is the successor to the biennial User Modeling (UM) and Adaptive Hypermedia
and Adaptive Web-based Systems (AH) conferences that were merged in 2009.

For the first time in the history of the conference, UMAP ’22 will be run
in a hybrid mode between **July 4-7, 2022**, with the opportunity for
speakers and attendees to participate on-site or online.

IMPORTANT DATES

===

* **Early-bird registration: May 27, 2022**

* Regular registration: May 28 – June 24, 2022

* On-site registration: from June 28, 2022

* Conference: July 4-7, 2022

REGISTRATION

===

Registration is open at https://www.um.org/umap2022/registration. Register
on or before **Jun 28** for a regular registration rate. On-site
registration is available after June 28th. Online registration is available
with fixed rates.

To celebrate the co-location of 3 ACM conferences in Barcelona (ACM
Hypertext <https://ht.acm.org/ht2022/>, ACM UMAP, and ACM WebSci
<https://websci22.webscience.org/>), UMAP supports a joint registration
discount.

We also are making UMAP more equitable this year. In striving for a
conference cost that is affordable for all, we also have deeply discounted
rates available for those registering in countries designated by ACM as
“economically developing”. These tickets are supported by SIGWEB to provide
fair access.
