[Ieee_vis] Invitation to apply for VGTC VIS Awards Chair Position

The IEEE Visualization and Graphics Technical Committee (VGTC) is the governance body that oversees and sponsors all IEEE visualization and virtual reality conferences including VIS, VR, 3DUI, ISMAR, Pacific Vis, and EuroVis (as a co-sponsor). 

The VGTC is seeking applicants for the VIS Awards Chair position. Any member of the VGTC community is welcome to apply. Previous or current experience at the conference management or conference executive committee level is a plus.

This position was recently overhauled and redefined. The statement of work for the position can be found here:

Your application should consist of an email describing your experience, ideas for the VIS Awards Chair position, and your CV sent to chair at vgtc.org <mailto:chair at vgtc.org>. All applications will be evaluated by the VGTC.
