Dear All,

next year at EGU we organize a so called PICO session about the State of
the Art in Earth Science Data Visualization. Only an abstract is
necessary for submission:

The deadline for this abstract is January 15th. A PICO is a relatively
cool presentation form, and a mixture between a fast forward and an
interactive poster. The main presentation happens on an interactive
touch screen, were one can play animations and even interact with
visualizations:

EGU is somewhat different to Vis and EuroVis, a conference with about
12.000 attendees from various different fields, nevertheless a great
spot for discussions and new insights. Would be really great to see more
visualization experts at that venue. The conference itself is at the
beginning of May in Vienna.

Cheers (and merry Christmas),
Niklas and Michael
