To avoid long lines and corresponding delays this evening at the
Visualization Pioneers Group reception, *we strongly encourage attendees to
take advantage of the online registration* available through

The IEEE Visualization Pioneers Group (VPG) will like in past years host
its member-exclusive reception on Monday evening of the IEEE VIS conference
week, on *October 21, 2019, starting at 7:00 pm *at

Rogue Kitchen and Wetbar, Convention Centre

200 Burrard Street

Vancouver, BC V6C 3L6


To become a member of the VPG, one simply needs to have at least *20 years
of contributions to some aspect of visualization and visual analytics*.

If that applies to you and you plan to attend the today's VPG reception at
VIS, we encourage you to join VPG or renew your membership immediately. (The
membership fee includes the registration fee for today's reception. Vice
versa, being eligible to join VPG and paying the reception fee at the door
instantaneously fulfills all your membership requirements).

In addition, if you meet today a colleague that might have recently become
eligible to join VPG, please consider "twisting their arm" and "dragging"
them to the reception as well.
