Dear all,

ACM SIGCAS is soliciting articles to be published in their quarterly newsletter, focusing on Visualization and Graphics. SIGCAS is the ACM Special Interest Group that addresses the social and ethical consequences of widespread computer usage. SIGCAS' main goals are to raise awareness about the impact that technology has on society, and to support and advance the efforts of those who are involved in this important work.

Contributions of all types of written material are welcome, including opinion articles, research challenge descriptions, work-in-progress articles, news reports, book reviews, bibliographies of relevant literature, and letters, fiction, poetry etc. on all aspects of the social, ethical and cultural impact of computing.

The newsletter is an online-only publication; the articles are not peer reviewed, only edited, and the authors retain all copyrights. The deadline to submit to the next issue is March 03, 2018. However, we encourage coordinating with the Area Editor regarding the suitability of your article for the newsletter as early as possible.

For more information, please visit the newsletter website (http://www.sigcas.org/newsletter), or contact Harsh Bhatia (hbhatia at llnl.gov<mailto:hbhatia at llnl.gov>).
