/// "TopoInVis 2017 Book" - Call for Papers
/// http://topoinvis.org/2017/

The Mathematics + Visualization series of Springer includes, among others, the proceedings from the biennial TopoInVis workshop, a workshop on topology-based methods in visualization. The forthcoming book in this series will include proceedings from TopoInVis 2017, held February 27-28, 2017, in Tokyo, Japan. We now invite authors to contribute to this book additional full papers describing original research, including the following fields:

 * scalar/vector/tensor field topology
 * topology of point sets and cell complexes
 * multi-field topology
 * theoretical models
 * combinatorial methods and robustness
 * multi-scale representation models
 * higher-order topological methods
 * time-dependent methods
 * feature extraction
 * Lagrangian coherent structures
 * topology-based denoising
 * topological similarity and correlation
 * topology simplification
 * user interfaces and visualization
 * domain specific interpretation of topological constructs and results
 * efficiency of topological algorithms
 * open implementations of topological algorithms

Important Dates:
 * May 31, 2017: submission deadline for additional full papers

For submission, please follow the instructions at "Paper Submission" in the "Call for Papers" section at: http://fj.ics.keio.ac.jp/topoinvis/. This includes a page limit of 14 pages and submission in anonymized form. Submissions will be peer-reviewed and undergo the same review process as the full papers originally submitted to the workshop.

For additional information, including the original call for TopoInVis 2017, please visit: http://fj.ics.keio.ac.jp/topoinvis/ and feel free to contact us.
