Call for Papers

The Institute for Media Innovation (IMI), Nanyang Technological University (NTU) and Computer Graphics Society are pleased to announce the 28th International Conference on Computer Animation and Social Agents (CASA 2015) to be held on May 11-13, 2015 at Nanyang Technological University in Singapore.

CASA was founded in 1988 in Geneva, Switzerland and it is the oldest International Conference in Computer Animation and Social Agents in the world. We seek short papers, and posters on a broad range of topics, including but not limited to:

*         Action Recognition and Understanding

*        Memory and Long-term Interaction for Virtual Humans and Social Robots

*         Animation Compression and Transmission

*         Semantics and Ontologies in Animation

*         Anthropometric Virtual Human Models

*         Animation in Cultural Heritage

*         3D Physiological Humans

*         3D Telepresence

*         Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality



The best short papers will be invited to submit a full paper to be published in a regular issue of the Computer Animation and Virtual Worlds Journal published by Wiley.
There will be two awards:

*  Best Short Paper Award
*  Best Poster Presentation Award

Short Papers (4 pages) and Posters (1 page) : March 27, 2015

Notification of Acceptance:
Short Papers (4 pages) and Posters (1 page) : April 11, 2015

Camera Ready:
Short Papers (4 pages) and Posters (1 page) :  April 18, 2015
