CFP: VIS 2013 Research and Industry & Government Track (new!) Posters
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

We solicit submission of posters in the VIS 2013 research and the newly created *industry and government track*.

Research Posters
--------------------------
Research posters present and discuss new visualization research through a forum that encourages graphical presentation, demonstration and active engagement with IEEE VIS participants. Examples of appropriate visualization work include, but are not limited to:
research exploring new problems or areas,
the results of student or pilot projects,
new angles on existing (collections of) work or known data sets,
work in progress presented prior to its full publication, and
any work that might particularly benefit from demonstration to and active discussion with the visualization community.
Case studies in all application areas are welcome. We particularly encourage contributions that take advantage of the nature of the poster space and forum to present and raise awareness of the work in effective and imaginative ways.

Industry & Government Track Posters
-------------------------------------------------------
Industry and government track posters describe state-of-the-art, real world experiences with designing, building, deploying and evaluating new information visualization and visual analytic systems. Posters should present case studies of success, failure, experimentation, design, development, methodology, best practice lessons and other topics relevant to a commercial context.

Poster presentations will be an integral part of the conference, with a session for interactive discussion between presenters and attendees, plus a fast-forward presentation track where authors can orally present a brief summary of their work to all conference attendees.
