[Ieee_vis] Reminder: BioVis Contest entries due Aug 2nd

Greetings friend of the BioVis contest!


The BioVis contest submission window is now open at https://precisionconference.com/~vgtc/

You asked for publication opportunities, and we've found you publication opportunities - but you've got to enter the contest to claim your slot!


To refresh your memory, we're not just interested in full "answers to the challenge questions", but also in partial solutions, design study suggestions for how specific biophysical features of the problem might best be represented, and any other contributions that help move the science of visualizing protein sequence, structure, and function forward.  If you're entering the Redesign contest, writing up how you approached that contest, would be a great entry for the Data analysis contest.



The submission deadline is August 2nd.  Brief instructions follow - for full submission  instructions, please visit the Precision Conference Submission system at:

Briefly:

If you don't already have an account, create one.  In the selection of available submission options, choose the contest option in the BioVis 2013 section.

The following items will be needed for the submission:

* Title
* List of authors and their affiliations
* Brief summary

 The brief summary is an overview of the contest entry that tells what you did, what part(s) of the problem you tackled or answered and describes your approach in a maximum of 300 words.

* Contest Entry Response

This document contains your response to the contest challenges, either in the form of a literal answer or a proposed approach that would yield an answer.

* Contest Entry Demo/Presentation

 This document is a self-running presentation demonstrating your visual approach or covering any material not suitable to a text presentation.  If the document is over the submission size limit (40 MB), you are welcome to host it elsewhere and include a link in your summary.

* Keywords

Select one primary keyword and one to three secondary keywords from a list provided at the submission site.

The total submission size via PCS cannot exceed 40.0 MB.  Please contact contest at biovis.net<mailto:contest at biovis.net> if you cannot comply with this limit, we'll do our best to accommodate!

You can start the submission process any time between now and August 2.  Submissions must be completed by August 2, 2013.
