CALL FOR PARTICIPATION

LDAV 20112: IEEE Symposium on Large-Scale Data Analysis and Visualization

At VisWeek 2012 in Seattle, WA
October 14-15, 2012
Website: http://www.ldav.org/

LDAV
The Symposium on Large-Scale Data Analysis and Visualization (LDAV) brings together domain scientists, data analytics and visualization researchers, HPC specialists, and database technology providers, fostering innovative solutions to the unique problems encountered in analysis and visualization of extremely large-scale data.

After a successful first LDAV symposium at VisWeek 2011 (http://www.ldav.org/2011) we are happy to organize the second symposium at VisWeek 2012.

- *NEW* The symposium will run for two days (Oct 14 & 15)

PARTICIPATION
There are a variety of ways to participate in LDAV 2012 -- papers, posters, and a vis contest.

Paper submissions are solicited for both long and short papers. Long papers should address large data visualization techniques and systems, and short papers are intended for industrial, lab and academic practitioners to describe and present their large data visualization applications. Topic emphasis is on visualization, algorithms, languages, systems and hardware that support the analysis and visualization of extremely large data.

For details, please see http://www.ldav.org.

We hope to see you there!

Chris Johnson and Mike Papka - Symposium Co-Chairs

Roger Barga, Hanspeter Pfister, and David Rogers - Program Co-Chairs
