The Visualization Track of the Workshop at SIGGRAPH ASIA (WASA) 2012
solicits submissions describing original research on visualization
techniques, tools and technology for visualization, and innovative
applications of visualization. The fields of computer graphics and
visualization have a significant overlap in terms of researchers and
practitioners who have a shared interest in both areas and common
tools and techniques developed within the areas. The aim of this
workshop is to bring together researchers from these fields, to
provide a forum for them to present and share their work on
visualization, and promote future interactions.
Topics of interest include all aspects of visualization including,
but not limited to, the following:
* Visualization Taxonomy and Models
* Visualization Techniques
* Scalar, Vector, and Tensor Field Visualization
* Multi-field and Multidimensional Data Visualization
* Large Data Visualization
* Visualization of Graphs and Trees
* Interaction Methods and Technology
* Human Factors in Visualization
* Visual Analytics
* Visualization Systems
* Hardware for Visualization
* Evaluations in Visualization
* Applications of Visualization
