15 PhD fellowships within the CEPLAS Graduate School
In CEPLAS - The Cluster of Excellence on Plant Sciences - researchers investigate in an interdisciplinary approach the characteristics and mechanisms of complex plant traits and their impact on plant performance and adaptation. This knowledge builds a foundation for sustainable cultivation of food, feed and energy crops.
CEPLAS is a joint venture of the Universities of Cologne and Düsseldorf, the Max Planck Institute for Plant Breeding Research and the Forschungszentrum Jülich.
The CEPLAS Graduate School offers a comprehensive graduate program covering the fields of molecular plant sciences, plant genetics, synthetic biology as well as quantitative and computational biology. The programme leads students with a bachelor’s degree through a unique qualification phase to the PhD. The program starts in October 2022.
Application deadline is November 30, 2021.
