CEPLAS announces 3 faculty positions (W2 tenure track W3) at the universities of Cologne and Düsseldorf

In CEPLAS - The Cluster of Excellence on Plant Sciences -  researchers investigate in an interdisciplinary approach the characteristics and mechanisms of complex plant traits and their impact on plant performance and adaptation. This knowledge builds a foundation for sustainable cultivation of food, feed and energy crops. 
CEPLAS is a joint venture of the Universities of Cologne and Düsseldorf, the Max Planck Institute for Plant Breeding Research and the Forschungszentrum Jülich. 

We invite applications for:

W2/W3 Photosynthesis Research (HHU)
The successful candidate conducts an internationally competitive research program focusing on the molecular, (eco -)physiological and/or biochemical mechanisms underpinning the conversion of light energy into plant biomass. 

W2/W3 Plant Metabolic Biochemistry (UoC)
The successful candidate conducts an internationally competitive research program in plant biochemistry, particularly focusing on protein biochemistry, structure/function relationship or enzyme evolution in orthologous systems or natural environment.

W2/W3 Metabolic Reconstructionand Flux Analysis (UoC)
The successful candidate conducts an internationally competitive research program integrating mechanistic modelling with plant and microbe metabolism and pathway reconstruction, or -omics of natural systems.
