PHD POSITION IN PLANT SCIENCES WITH SYNGENTA AT UNIVERSITY OF OXFORD
There is a PhD position available at the Department of Plant Sciences at the University of Oxford in close collaboration with Syngenta. The project aims at establishing quantitative activity profiling of cytochrome P450s in plant science and applying this technology to investigate the fate of agrochemicals and the role of P450s in plant-pathogen interactions.
The student will be a member of a strong and new interdisciplinary research team of scientists taking a broad range of (chemical) proteomic, genetic and cell biology approaches to study plant science.
Applicants should be from UK/EU and have a university degree in biology or chemistry. When applying, please provide your CV, names of three referees and a strong motivation letter stating why this is an interesting topic and why you have the right attitude and expertise to make progress in this field.
