      are seeking a Post-Doctoral associate to develop visualizations of
      electromagnetic field and bathymetric data in virtual reality.
      Specific tasks include:<br>
    </p>
    <ul>
      <li>Design VR environments in Unity, augmenting prior art from the
        CCOM/JHC DVRL on interactive point-cloud manipulation and flow
        visualization.</li>
      <li>Support local manipulation of streaming data from cloud-based
        bathymetric data processing algorithms</li>
      <li>Implement and visualize reconstructions of electromagnetic
        field measurements</li>
      <li>Implement combined grid reconstructions, guidance statistics,
        and source point visualizations</li>
      <li>Incorporate interactive features for the user, particularly
        with free-space manipulation tools (e.g., pairs of 6-DOF
        controllers)</li>
    </ul>
    <p>In addition, this project contains a public outreach component
      and will support NASA press releases. The Post-Doc will work with
      local K-12 schools to showcase science in VR as well as with the
      NASA Science Visualization Studio (SVS) to create visualizations
      for press release articles regarding the Magnetospheric Multiscale
      (MMS) mission.</p>
