The Department of Computer Graphics Technology at Purdue University is seeking to fill one tenure/tenure-track position on the West Lafayette, Indiana campus, beginning in August 2023. CGT balances undergraduate and graduate education with a strong research
and engagement agenda. We are a research-intensive department focused on applied research informed by close engagement with industry.<br>

Qualifications: An earned PhD in a field related to interactive media and computer graphics such as computer science, informatics, computer engineering, or similar, completed by August 1, 2023. Focus areas may include interactive and human-centered computing,
AR/VR/xR, physical computing, computer graphics, information sciences, HCI, computational media, information design, tangible and embodied interaction, and visualization.<br>

Job Description: The Department of Computer Graphics Technology at Purdue University (CGT) seeks a tenure-track Assistant or Associate Professor in the field of interactive media and computer graphics. The faculty member will engage in research and teaching
in some of the following fields: interactive and human-centered computing, AR/VR/xR, physical computing, computer graphics, information sciences, HCI, computational media, information design, tangible and embodied interaction, and visualization. Candidates
should be prepared to teach programming, application development, or related skills.<br>

Duties: Advising master's and doctoral students, developing and conducting funded research programs, teaching and developing graduate and undergraduate courses, providing service and engagement work, and mentoring are expected.<br>
